Three in court over Ladbrokes armed robbery

Two men and a youth have appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery at a bookmakers.
Jonathan Richard Williams, 30, of Mixenden Court, Mixenden, Halifax, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to the robbery at Ladbrokes, Keighley Road, Ovenden, Halifax.

Nathan Hutchinson, 18, of Hawthorn Way, Halifax, admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice by allowing a blank firing pistol to be concealed at his address.

The robbery occurred on July 18 at 8.50pm. Sentencing was adjourned until December 8.

Williams and the youth were remanded in custody while Hutchinson was released on conditional bail.
