The Football Association has revealed there has been no appeal from Halifax Town over the club's expulsion from the Blue Square Premier League.
The club was thrown out of the league after collapsing with more than £2 million debts earlier this month.
FA spokesman Andrew Cooper said: "There is the possibility of an appeal to the FA or the annual meeting of the Football Conference on June 7."
A group of businessmen, which has been funding the club which went into administration in March, is hoping Town can compete in a league – possibly the Conference North or Unibond League - next season.
