AUTHOR Rich Wiles will promote his new book about life in Palestine at Hebden Bridge Library next Wednesday.
Hull-born Mr Wiles is a photographer and journalist who lived for several years in Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem.

His photography has been showcased at Dean Clough, Halifax, and his book Behind the Wall: Life, Love and Struggle in Palestine brings together experiences of Palestinian refugees.

Mr Wiles is also working to help young dancers from the Aida camp visit Calderdale in July. The Palestinian youngsters will visit local schools to teach traditional dance as part of the Discover Palestine Festival to be held in the Piece Hall, Halifax, on July 10.
