Calderdale’s homelessness service provider SmartMove held a charity Wild West Night.
More than 200 guests enjoyed a hog roast supper and disco. Ticket sales and a raffle with the main prize of a private box viewing for Disney on Ice at the MEN arena, Manchester, raised £3,000 for the charity, which needs to find £150,000 on top of council contract funding to operate as a service provider for Calderdale’s homeless and vulnerably housed people. SmartMove chief executive officer Stuart Rumney, said: “It was a great evening - everyone was up dancing.”
