Appeal after attempted robbery in Bradford

A cyclist has flagged down a passing motorist after two men attempted to rob him.

The 43-year-old was riding his bike on Keighley Road in Frizinghall, Bradford, when he was approached by the men.

One of them caused the victim to fall from his bike and several demands were made for his mobile phones. The victim refused and flagged down the motorist to contact the police.

The suspects walked off towards Bradford and were later seen to enter Lister Park.

The first man is described as white, in his mid to late twenties, around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He had short fair hair and was wearing a white T-shirt.

The second man was also white, in his mid to late twenties, of similar height and build. He had short dark hair and a dark coloured striped T-shirt.

The victim was left shocked but was not injured.

Officers are keen to speak to the woman that the victim asked to contact the police.
