Appeal after motorbike crash in Huddersfield

A 26-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident in Huddersfield this morning.

His Yamaha motorbike mounted the pavement and hit a dry stone wall on Meltham Road, about 50 metres from the junction with Manchester Road, in Marsden at 1.30am.

He was taken to hospital with injuries which were serious but not thought to be life-threatening.
