Two of West Yorkshire’s most innonative and talented musicians and songwriters bring their popular live act to Calderdale next month.
Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow play Hebden Bridge Trades Club on Sunday, October 7 .
The Huddersfield-based duo have enjoyed a stellar year since the release of their second album The Fragile, the success of which has seen them featured on Cerys Matthews’ 6 Music and folk legend Mike Harding’s Radio Two folk and acoustic shows.
They were even handed the huge accolade of being voted the best act at this summer’s Cambridge Folk Festival by the Guardian newspaper.
“We both really like The Fragile and feel very protective about it,” said Belinda.
“We have been absolutely blown away since the album came out and the reception it has received has given us a whole new level of confidence.
“It has given us the opportunity to play some fantastic venues both large and small. We have had a great tour so far with so many highlights. The whole experience has just bolsetered us so much.”
