CAST members of the annual Todmorden Gang Show have been filming a DVD in prepartion for this year’s performance.

The musical show next month involves Scouts and Guides performing numbers which this year covers the Diamond Jubilee, Olympics and also features a Steptacular, with tracks from pop band Steps.

Each year the show members pick a charity and for 2012 it will be Macmillan nurses.

The cast visited the Macmillan Unit at Calderdale Royal Hospital this week to make a DVD which will be played during the show to drum up more donations.

Rowena Goldthorpe, who produces the show, said: “We recorded a version of Avril Levigne’s Keep Holding On. We also went to Manor Heath and did some filming there as well as the Macmillan unit, where staff helped us let off some green balloons.”

The show takes place at the Hipperdrome Theatre, Todmorden, on May 16-19.
