Band from Halifax land gig at top venue

Halifax band Symphony of Sirens have landed a gig at the O2 Academy in Liverpool.

The group, who play indie dance, will perform at a showcase show for RCA Records and are hoping it could lead to a record deal.
Symphony of Sirens is made up of Chris Howell on vocals, Matthew Patchett on vocals, guitars and prgramming and Dan Whitworth on bass.
They have been together for around three months and have secured the Liverpool gig after releasing one of their songs Unbreakable on iTunes. 
The band are putting on a coach to take fans from Halifax to Liverpool. Tickets are available from First Floor Music in Halifax town centre.
