BBC Look North broadcasters Harry Gration and Amy Garcia will pedal in tandem along Calderdale’s route of Yorkshire’s Tour de France, tomorrow.
Over a gruelling eight days, Gration and Garcia will tandem cycle 250 miles in their Tandem Tour de Yorkshire to raise funds for Sport Relief 2014.
The TV duo started their Tandem Tour from Leeds Town Hall on Friday (March 14) and will be passing through Calderdale tomorrow.
Garcia said: “A new baby, a new job – I thought I’d take on another challenge! It’s been four years since I’ve ridden a bike so there’s lots of work to do. Harry’s started calling himself Bradley – I just hope he can ride like him.”
Long-standing broadcaster Gration said: “This is another fine mess our editor has got us into – but seriously – we’re really looking forward to the challenge and hopefully meeting loads of people as we go round Yorkshire.”
If you want to show your support to the charitable cyclists they will be passing through our region tomorrow. They are expected to pass through Hebden Bridge at 12 midday, Mytholmroyd at 12.30pm, Ripponden at 2.30pm and calling in lastly at Elland at around 4pm.
