One of the biggest biking events of the year will be held on Sunday thanks to a group of Calderdale enthusiasts.

The Calder Valley chapter of the Satan Slaves Motor Club, led by club president ‘Big D’, have organised the Ink, Iron and Hotrod Show at the Frontier Club on Bradford Road, Batley.

Big D, also known as Darren Fawthop, said: “With this show we’re aiming to pull together different stands of custom culture to create a great experience for both enthusiasts and the general public.

“Visitors will see great custom motorcycles and hotrods, top tattooists in action, live music, dancers and a wide selection of stalls and dealer stands, as well as food vendors and a bar.

“We think this is the going to be the largest single day event of its type in Europe and, as far as we are aware the world,” he added.

Calder Valley Satan’s Slaves have become key figures in bringing together the different strands of two and four wheel motor culture in Yorkshire.
