Twins Carl and Kelvin Wolfenden are hoping the jubilee spirit - and a bit of leg waxing - can help them to help others.
The brothers, both 15, and their friends Jamie Skitmore, 15, and Taylor Brownhill, 15, will host their own jubilee party as they try to raise funds for a trip to Borneo.
The foursome need to raise £3,950 each for the trip next summer where they will spend a month teaching english in villages and developing water systems.
In an effort to get started on raising they are organising a jubilee party at the twins’ home at Green Lane Farm, Soaper Lane, Shelf.
Traditional games and some new classics including a can shooting gallery and welly wanging will transform their garden.
The boys will also be stepping up and having their legs waxed to boost their funds.
Jamie, from Brighouse, said: “Someone came into school to talk about the trip and we thought it would be something we’d love to do.”
Carl said: “We will move round a few different places and we are going on a five day trek in the jungle.
“We were watching a programme on TV which said that they have the largest ants and the biggest spiders in the world over there.”
The event will be held on Sunday June 3 from 1pm till late.
