Organiser Tom Ratcliffe is particularly pleased that young talent will be highlighted. He said: “We are exceptionally rich in young talent in Brighouse and have always tried to promote that talent whenever possible.”

Highlights of this year’s festival include concerts by Brighouse singers Roger Davies and Rachel Crisp and by the young duo Aidan Edwards, a former pupil at Rastrick High School, and Juliet Montgomery, who both now study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
