Brocklehurst sacked by Barrow Raiders
HALIFAX'S Championship title rivals Barrow have sacked former Ovenden junior Andrew Brocklehurst.
Brocklehurst, the former Fax, London Broncos, Salford and England Academy back rower, was dismissed by the Craven Park club yesterday for 'gross misconduct'.
The Halifax-born player, who was a late withdrawal from the side that was hammered at Batley last weekend, has been a revelation for the Cumbrians at loose forward this season.
So far, no further explanation has been given for his sudden exit.
