Brodstock Festival this weekend

There'll be music, entertainment, stalls and hopefully sunshine at Hipperholme's third Brodstock festival this weekend.

Brodstock for Overgate Hospice at the Old Brods, Hipperholme.

Held at the Old Brodleians Rugby Club on Saturday, June 18 the charity event promises family friendly fun while raising money for Overgate Hospice, Elland.

The day will kick off at around 11.30am and will go on until late, so there will be plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere throughout the day.

Thirteen local bands have given their time for free including, For Funk Sake, Bellaruse and more, X Factor star Tom Bleasby will also make an appearance.

On top of that there will be food tents, drink tents, activities for children and stalls.

Tickets are £5 and free for under 12s. They can be bought from The White Horse, Lightcliffe; One Stop Shop, Hove Edge; Fawcett cards, Brighouse; GuitarZone, Halifax town centre and Overgate Hospice, Elland.
