Bus drivers organise Christmas gift appeal

First bus drivers are organising a Christmas gift appeal.

They are urging passengers to buy an extra present when they are out Christmas shopping for children who will be spending this Christmas at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
They say it can be anything suitable for a child up to the age of 16.
Anyone who wants to take park should take their presents, unwrapped, to the Metro office at Halifax bus station.
The appeal starts on Friday and ends on December 18.
The First bus drivers who are organising the appeal will then take the presents to the children’s ward at Calderdale Royal Hospital to present them to the children who will be there at Christmas.
