The woman with a conscience and an ‘inspiration’ to the business world, Kate Hardcastle, has been presented with an Inspiration Award.
In a London ceremony,the proprietor of Insight with Passion joined celebrities and dignitaries from the world of music, sport and screen as she collected the award in recognition of her ‘passionate approach in creating a business that returns 20 per cent of profits to charity and community.
The evening was filled with music with a performance of ‘Hallelujah’ by X-Factor winner Alexander Burke. Singer/songwriter Adele, Jessica Ennis Hill and the late Bernie Nolan were awarded for their inspiration.
Kate said: “I see myself as the baton carrier for the next generation - there is a lot I want to achieve for my daughters generation - more confidence in young people, better opportunities for women and a fairer and kinder place for all, so I’ve only just begun!”
She is the founder of ‘Positive Image’ - a mentoring campaign inspiring confidence in young people.
The business woman created ‘Charity Dreamgirls’ - raising awareness for lesser-known charities.
She is the ambassador for the Diana Awards, RSPCA and drawing on her experience as Bradford Bulls director, she’s the ambassador for Women’s Sports Trust.
In 2014 she will challenge herself to fundraise for women in sport.
