Balloons go up to celebrate 125 years
YATES'S pub in Halifax celebrated the company's 125th anniversary with a balloon race in aid of Help for Heroes.
There were 500 red balloons released from the bar in Silver Street with each balloon pre-sold to customers for 2.
The owner's name and address was printed on one side of the attached ticket while the other side was stamped and addressed to the bar.
Finders of the balloons are asked to pop the ticket into the post, with details of the location it was discovered, to claim a 25 reward.
A TV is the prize for the balloon that goes the furthest.
