Beating the rest to world rights
A MACHINE tool manufacturer beat off international competition and secured full rights to a grinding machine.
Broadbent Stanley, of Burnley Road, Sowerby Bridge, which produces large capacity manual and CNC lathes, successfully bid for the rights to the Yorky range of oilfield and rubber roll grinders.
This means it has full design and manufacturing rights for the sought-after heavy grinding machines.
The Yorky, designed specifically for the oilfield and petrochemical markets, is a best seller with both original equipment manufacturers and repair shops.
