Grand Central is introducing a new West Riding direct daily service which will call at Halifax at 8.06 am, Brighouse, 8.18 am and return at 18.29 Brighouse and 18.41 Halifax (Monday to Friday).
Its three other services leave Halifax at 7.07 am, 10.37 am and 14.35 pm arriving back at 13.41 pm, 17.41 pm and 22.29 pm. (Brighouse timings vary between ten and 12 minutes southbound and northbound).
Four services also run Saturday and Sunday on a slightly different timetable.
The extra service to London King’s Cross will give travellers increased accessibility to the capital and more flexibility for day trip travel.
General manager Sean English said: “We launched an additional service on our North East route last year, which proved to be extremely popular with business travellers and leisure passengers and we hope to replicate this success.”
