The local company was formed by Steve Emsley in 2014 after he had spent 10 years in education recruitment.

He says the take over will provide an increase in his company’s finances and capabilities.

Steve said “We are very excited to be acquired by The Classroom Partnership, which provides the investment and foundation to take our Yorkshire focused candidate and client services onto the next level.

“Aligning our business with the most dynamic specialist classroom staffing agency was a no-brainer for the stakeholders and staff. It gives everybody more choice.

“I’ve been working in education recruitment since 2004 but decided it was time to do it myself.

“It was tough setting up my own company - a lot more in depth than I thought it would be.

“I used a specialist company to set up the website and now the merger has brought a back office element to it that I couldn’t provide on my own, as well as a significant investment in the company.

“It’s a real milestone for the business and has already created two more jobs.

“The idea is there will be a big expansion to come that will bring extra jobs to the local area, hopefully about 15 or 20, by the end of next year”

Paul Broderick, chief executive of The Classroom Partnership, which will now have a regional office in Brighouse and which is backed by the £60m turnover Bluestones Investment Group, said, “We are delighted at the inclusion of Steve onto the management team of The Classroom Partnership.
