Businesses will get expert advice to help them make the most of the digital revolution at an event hosted by Calderdale Council.
The council is inviting businesses to the breakfast event from 7.30am to 9.15am on July 23 at Bertie’s Banqueting Rooms, Elland.
Previous breakfast events have attracted up to 200 businesses. This summer’s event will be opened by Calderdale Council’s Leader, Coun Tim Swift and businesses will have chance to ask questions and meet the council’s business support team to find out about the help available.
Lynn Tune from Superfast West Yorkshire Business will talk about how businesses can be more effective, improve efficiency, save time and reach new customers using digital and social media and by using their website more effectively.
Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Environment, Coun Barry Collins, said: “This is a real opportunity for local businesses to get practical advice to help give them a competitive edge.
“I have attended previous breakfast events and am always impressed with the turnout and lively discussion.
“It’s another way for the council to listen to and respond to businesses.”
