A buyer is being sought for a bed retailer after the Dreams chain hit problems.
Administrators have agreed a sale for 171 stores but the Halifax store is amongst 91 not sold. It will continue to trade as normal.
0Thomas Cook, which includes Co-operative Travel, also announced this week it is to close 195 travel agencies and axe 2,500 British jobs.
A spokesman for the company said the closures would not impact on Calderdale.
Thomas Cook has shops at Cornmarket, Halifax, and Commercial Street, Brighouse. There are Co-operative Travel shops at Princess Street, Halifax, and Commercial Street, Brighouse.
