A night of emotion and tension gripped the 300-strong audience at the 2012 Courier Business Awards.
Since being introduced in 2007 the awards have grown into the biggest night on the local business calendar.
There was no hiding the excitement and joy of those judged worthy of recognition and an example of success in challenging times.
BBC Presenter Clare Frisby did a superb job hosting the event which was again supported by legal firm Chadwick Lawrence as the main sponsor.
Courier Editor John Kenealy said there were fantastic businesses in Calderdale.
“Despite difficult economic times some are achieving really impressive results,” he said.
