Estio Training held an open day to promote the apprenticeship option and showcase its new premises at Dean Clough, Halifax.

The firm provide IT Apprenticeships across the UK and has a large network of clients based along the M62 corridor.

The company also operates as a specialist recruitment business.

Visitors included representatives from Calderdale Council, Calderdale and Kirklees Careers, the National Apprenticeship Service, and local employers who are interested in recruiting and developing their own IT professionals.

Launched in November 2013, the Estio IT Apprenticeship Programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a paid job with no cost or debt.

Underpinned by Government funded training, the 12 month Estio IT Apprenticeship will provide all apprentices with the relevant skills and qualifications to secure a paid job.

Employers have the opportunity to hire talented young people through a low risk and low cost government backed scheme.

Young people aged 16-24 who are interested in perusing a successful career in IT, or an employer wanting the opportunity to train, mentor and develop their own IT professionals can contact Estio’s apprenticeship co-ordinator Alexandra Smith at alex.smith@estio.co.uk or 0845 017 9997.
