Halifax-based Frog has been nominated by The Sunday Times as one of 20 up-and-coming mid-market companies in the UK.
Frog’s place in the table was announced as part of the Inward Investment Track 50 supplement in The Sunday Times newspaper last weekend.
The Fast Track award, which is supported by UK Trade & Investment, is highlighting 20 burgeoning, foreign-backed mid-market companies.
Since 1997, Fast Track has identified the most successful private companies in the UK and ranked them in league tables published with The Sunday Times.
They currently run six league table awards and networking programmes that focus on the fastest-growing to the biggest private companies.
More than 12 million students, teachers and parents across the world use Frog’s education technology software, including two million users and around one in five schools in the UK.
Gareth Davies, Managing Director at Frog, who set-up the Dean Clough-based business in 1999, said: “We are delighted to have been named as one of the top 20 up-and-coming foreign-backed businesses in the country.
“For the last 15 years, we have seen substantial growth in the business, with Frog providing ground-breaking technology to thousands of schools across the globe.
“This achievement is a real testament to the hard work of the whole Frog team.”
