Courier Editor John Kenealy said the big night would no doubt again deliver stories of enterprise and amazing achievements of inspiring individuals.

The Courier Business Awards provide the opportunity to demonstrate to a wider audience what a great place Calderdale is to work and do business.

“The diverse range of business is amazing, new businesses have cropped up in recent years, they have succeeded against the odds and are flying high, ” said Mr Kenealy. “Established companies dating back decades have successfully showed resilience during a particularly difficult economic period to weather the storm and hopefully can look forward to many more successful years.

“I would urge everyone to ensure we get as many nominations as possible - there will be a category to suit and I look forward to meeting the short listed nominees on the big night in October.”
