Heavy showers are reducing the visibility on the M62 this morning (Wednesday).
Surface water is causing problems for motorists on the M62 between junction 22 at Rishworth Moor and junction 18 at Simister Island. Drivers are being advised to approach with care.
Further rain or showers are predicted this morning. They will become lighter and less frequent during the afternoon with sunny spells developing. Temperatures will reach 13 degrees celsius.
Tomorrow will be brighter with temperatures expected to reach 12 degrees.
Motorists are also facing delays in Brighouse due to temporary traffic lights at Birds Royd Lane. Tailbacks are as far back as Bailiff Bridge along Bradford Road and queues are developing along Wakefield Road from the M62.
