New accountancy practice in Ripponden

editorial image

Calderdale accountant Angela Riley has started up a new practice.

The former president of the West Yorkshire Society of Chartered Accountants is working from her Ripponden home as AKR Associates Limited.

She said she will specialise in looking after local sole traders, partnerships, small companies and give tax and accountancy advice to new businesses.

For many years she was a key volunteer for the Business Link “meet the experts” sessions at Croft Myl, Halifax.

“It’s really exciting starting a new business and I’m having a great time” she said.

“I already have some wonderful clients with excellent businesses.”

She is also a mentor for the West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency MyMentor scheme which assists people who are starting their own businesses helped by the government’s New Enterprise Allowance.
