A recently-launched transport firm with a site in Halifax is creating up to 20 new jobs.

The Haulage (Holdings) Organisation, based at Swalesmoor Road in Halifax and Cumbria, began operating just two months ago and has been granted operator’s licences for a fleet of 74 vehicles and 71 trailers after taking over operations from various other subsidiaries within Leo Group.

On the back of rapid initial growth, the company is now creating between 15 and 20 new jobs for experienced drivers across its two sites.

Operations Director Tim Cooper said: “Our fleet telematics system allows us to accurately track vehicle movement and monitor performance.

“In accordance with our fleet policy, we monitor driver performance to maximise efficiency, continuously improve customer service, and ensure our driver’s safety.

“The new fleet of cabs and trailers means we are well equipped to maximise our performance through monitoring route planning and delivery times.”

The company has also signed a new contract with ATS Euromaster Ltd to maintain the tyres on its fleet.
