A woman from Halifax has been appointed as recycling banks co-ordinator with Lancashire-based commercial waste company Fairport Containers.
Rashda Zahir, 30, joins recycling banks manager, Lisa Mullally, also from Halifax, who was appointed to head up the recycling banks service just a few months ago.
Previously, Rashda worked in the transport department at a reconditioning and recycling agency in West Yorkshire, giving her a wealth of experience.
Rashda will be focusing on co-ordinating the transport logistics for the recycling banks.
“I am delighted to join Lisa and I’m really enjoying the job. The role is busy and varied and I’m quickly learning to turn my hand to anything,” Rashda said.
“I am pleased that the role has scope for development too. It’s a great opportunity to help grow and develop a new area in a successful business.”
