Time is running out for the September 5 deadline to send us your nominations for this year’s Halifax Courier Business Awards.
We have a category to suit every individual and every enterprise driving our economy forward.
There are 12 categories in total, ranging from recognising small companies to environmentally-friendly firms.
Our judges will be seeking businesses or individuals who have shown flexibility, imagination and determination to make their business succeed.
You may nominate yourself or others. Professional advisers such as accountants, banks or solicitors are welcome to nominate their clients.
Once all the nominations are in, our judging panel will meet to draw up the shortlist in each category, which will be announced in the Courier before the awards night.
The categories in the 2014 Halifax Courier Business Awards are:
Small-to-medium business of the year sponsored by Wilby Insurance, new business of the year sponsored by Calderdale Council, innovator of the year, manufacturing award, business person of the year sponsored by Walker Singleton, business of the year, employer of the year, green champion award sponsored by BCA Leisure, green business award, retailer of the year and lifetime achievement award.
State clearly which company, organisation or person you are nominating, for which category and in as much detail as possible why they deserve the award.
Send your nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org or via www.halifaxbusinessawards.co.uk.
The awards take place at the Venue, Barkisland on November 27. Tickets cost £55 + VAT per person.
