The Cross Keys, Siddal, has been awarded the Winter Pub of the Year for Yorkshire by the Society for the Preservation of Beers from the Wood.
The pub has only been trading for 14 months, but have seen success and plaudits for their range of real ales and homely interior.
Hugh Kirby, co-owner of The Cross Keys, said: “It’s quite humbling - we’re over the moon.
“We just wanted to make a good real ale pub with a friendly environment.
It is only the third time in the past fifty years that a pub in Calderdale has won the award.
