This month’s Business for Calderdale (BfC) focused on local businessman Tony Abbott at his Reactiv Media, Elland, headquarters.
Mr Abbott discussed his background, his influences and what inspired him to create one of the biggest digital data providers in the country.
Reactiv philosophies’ engineering market leader success was also discussed by the managing director before answering questions.
BfC chair Nick Worsnop said: “Thanks to Tony Abott and his colleagues for hosting the latest BfC networking event at Reactiv Media. Tony is extremely successful and an inspiration in the way he has taken a dream and grown an extremely successful business, to be a market leader, and at the same time nurturing and valuing those people who have helped him achieve his ambition.”
The next BfC on March 11 from 5pm will discuss proposals for Victoria Theatre and will be held at Dean Clough in conjunction with Community Foundation for Calderdale’s ‘Inspiring Fundraising and Philanthropy’ conference.
BfC membership is open to anyone with a business interest in Calderdale.
