Last night(Thurs) The Venue, Barkisland, was packed out when the business community came together to celebrate the district’s best success stories.
Applause greeted the winners of several categories covering companies and individuals.
Green Business winner was Sonoco Alcore and the category sponsor was Spire Elland Hospital.
Green Champion was Aileen Gray (Witt UK Ltd) and sponsor BCA Leisure.
Innovator of the Year was Transline Group and sponsor BM Howarth Ltd.
Manufacturer of the Year was Sidhil and sponsor the Shay Stadium.
Small to Medium Sized Business was Babyballet and sponsor Wilby Ltd.
Entrepreneur of the Year was Limehouse and sponsor Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley.
New Business of the Year was Andpak and sponsor Calderdale Council.
Employer of the Year was Suma and sponsor Reactiv Media.
Business of the Year was Polyframe and sponsor Walker Singleton.
Business Person of the Year was Martin Booth (Fan Systems Group) and sponsor The Venue.
And, the extra special Lifetime Achievement Award winner was Wim Batist (BCA Leisure).
