Covea scoops award

Halifax-based Covéa Insurance has become one of just four UK businesses, and the only UK home insurer, to achieve the highest customer service accolade from The Institute of Customer Service.

Covéa’s home claims team has been awarded a ServiceMark with Distinction from the institute, which caps off a hugely successful 18 months, which has also seen the team shortlisted for eight industry awards.

Adrian Furness, claims director at Covéa Insurance, said: “As well as being incredibly rewarding for our business, it’s also fantastic that we can play our part in improving perceptions of the insurance industry by proving we can be modern, fair, forward thinking and customer focused organisations.
