The 2013 Halifax Courier Business Awards will now be held at the Venue, Barkisland, on Thursday, November 14.

Tickets for the prestigious event celebrating the best of Calderdale business are being quickly snapped up.

And, rather than leave dozens disappointed it has been decided to switch the location from the Shay Stadiuum to The Venue.

The new setting can accommodate 350 in comfort and a great night is in prospect.

Although the location has changed the organisation remains the same as The Venue, which is a main sponsor of this year’s event, also runs the catering operation at the Shay.

TV presenter Clare Frisby is again the host and will be announcing an impressive list of winners covering several categories which capture the best performing businesses and individuals.

The awards night - which is now in its seventh year - starts with a drinks reception followed by an opening address and dinner.

The presentations are expected to start around 9.30 pm and generate a great atmosphere from an appreciative audience.

Other sponsors are: BCA Leisure Ltd, Reativ, Wilby, Walker Singleton, BM Howarth Ltd, Calderdale Council; Spire Hospital, and Lupton Fawcett.
