“This is an exciting milestone in our development as a business and represents a significant investment for SSP,” said Mr Walker.

“The business is ambitious and our new headquarters is a vital element to the continued global success of SSP. We are a Halifax company and this investment signals how confident we are in our business and in this town.”

SSP has been in Halifax 29 years and this week announced robust results.

Revenue topped £70 million and there were key new client wins and contract renewals and strong forward revenue visibility.

Mr Walker said: “We have delivered another strong set of results despite a sluggish marketplace, maintaining our profitability and high levels of recurring revenue.

“Overall we have matured significantly over the last couple of years, having integrated a number of acquisitions and invested in new digital products and data services. We now have a first class portfolio of quality products and increasing recurring revenues.”
