Eating up law changes at breakfast

THE latest changes to employment law were the focus of a breakfast seminar geared at accountants.

Chartered accountants work closely with solicitors' firms on many employment issues.

The event was held at the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre.

Jon Dyson and Maureen Cawthorn, partners at Wilkinson Woodword solicitors firm and members of the Employment Lawyers Associa-tion, presented the seminar.

Employment law includes unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, severance packages and compromise agreements, and the preparation of contracts of employment and internal procedures.
