DESPITE the wind and rain the sun was shining at a Brighouse business for their annual open day.

Ploughcroft, the only Eco Roof Centre in the north of England, opened its doors to show off the company’s products.

Managing director Chris Hopkins was joined by Michael Pawlyn, the lead architect on the Eden Project who spoke at the event.

The event included sessions about how to use and install solar products and live demos.

Mr Hopkins said: “We are very excited to have opened our new centre to the public. It sets us apart from other solar companies in the north of England and shows customers our level of commitment to making solar become the leading form of sustainable energy in Britain.”
