Halifax's first mobile gin bar to be launched at festival

GinTopia is the brainchild of Halifax residents Helen Verity, Carol Watkinson and Angela Nenna-Chapman, who use a horsebox to sell their wares.

Helen said: “Our idea formed whilst walking around various outdoor shows and festivals across the country, where a decent G and T just couldn’t be found.

“As three lovers of gin in all its glorious forms, we decided to stop whinging and put our money where our mouths were and the plans for GinTopia began to take shape.”

The event runs from 11.30am until 3pm, and 4pm to 7.30pm. There will be live music, talks from local gin distillers and pop-up food from Little Red Pizza.

Tickets for the festival are priced £9.
