Lloyds Banking Group has announced 165 jobs will go as part of its ongoing strategic review and they include three data analysts at Copley.

The role reductions fall within the risk, finance, retail, operations, and commercial banking divisions.

All affected employees have been briefed by their line manager as have trade unions.

The bank said since the strategic review started in 2011 the policy had been to use natural turnover and redeployment, and only a third of role reductions have led to people leaving the group through redundancy.
