Ripponden Christmas Tree Farm is opening its plantation for customers to choose their own from November 30.

The business was set up in 2007 and now has over 7,000 field-planted and pot grown trees. It’s the first time it has offered “choose your own trees” and those on offer include Norway Spruce up to 8ft tall and Nordman Fir trees around 5ft to 6ft.

Owner Jeremy Mothersdale said: “They will be freshly cut at point of sale. During opening hours someone will be available to take the nod.

“We have over 500 available in sizes I think customers will be after and we offer a delivery service.”
