TATRA Plastics has produced its millionth metre of plastic planking.

The Norwood Green company makes a range of PVC extrusions and plastic products.

Its Click & Fix range of snap-together plastic panelling products is used to build a range of sheds, outhouses, shelters, industrial and external storage units.

The millionth metre equates to 605 miles and would stretch from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

To celebrate the milestone the 30-plus employees of Tatra Plastics signed the one millionth meter plastic panel which will be displayed in the firm’s reception.

The company has been manufacturing plastics products and extrusions for 45 years and Chairman Paul Freud said: “We’ve always prided ourselves for being at the leading edge of technology and innovation in our specialist field.

“Click & Fix is an example of that - it’s a product unique to Tatra and it’s with thanks to the dedication and commitment of our team here that we are able to pass this milestone.”

Tatra Plastics also produce a range of Tubes and Profiles in ABS, Acrylic, PVC, HDPE, Polypropylene, Noryl, Polycarbonate, Polythene, Polyethylene, Styrene, Rigid & Flexible and Co-extrusions.
