Pupils learn professional culinary skills

Students at Ryburn Valley High School, Sowerby Bridge, were given top cooking tips from local restauranteers: Temujin; Gimbals; and Village; in an interactive Whole School Green Day.

Food Technology teacher Susan Dean said: “Local businesses generously gave their time and offered a golden service. Students found the day mind-blowing. The day transformed their perception of the subject of food. It was a wonderful day.”
