RL star Stuart Fielden opens 'right spot'
GREAT Britain rugby league star Stuart Fielden was at the opening of a new hairdresser and barber salon.
The Halifax-born Wigan Warriors player was invited to officially open Eds in Rawson Street, Halifax.
The new hairdressing and barbering salon has been set up by brother and sister team Dominic and Elly Casale.
"It went really well," said Dominic. "We had a big turn-out with more than 50 people."
Dominic, 19, and 22-year-old Elly both started cutting hair when they were 15 and have been ready to set up on their own for the last 12 months. "We saw this place available and we just went for it and had it done out.
"It's a prime location opposite Harvey's and next to Le Metro. We always said if we find the right spot we'll go for it."
