CUSTOMERS can vote for their favourite Sainsbury's worker in a national competition.
The supermarket is launching its first ever 'Your Sainsbury's Star' scheme to recognise shop floor colleagues who go above and beyond to give outstanding customer service.
Martyn Nicholson, Halifax store manager, said: "Your Sainsbury's Star is a perfect way to celebrate the fantastic work our colleagues do every day and to acknowledge the importance we place on making every customer feel loved.
"I hope that our regular shoppers get involved as it's a nationwide search and I'd be ecstatic if the winner came from the Halifax store."
Customers can nominate in store between now and July 31 and the winner will be announced on August 8.
