Wilby Ltd, of Charles Street, Halifax, demonstrated significant and consistent growth over the last three years with turnover doubling as a result of new initiatives, a robust business plan and investment in staff.
Diesel equipment manufacturer Feather Diesel Services Ltd, of Lowfields Business Park in Elland, showed its technicians are at the top end of their industry. With a 50 year history, the environmentally friendly company has built up a strong local and international reputation.
The Ark Private Day Nursery, of Cragg Road, Mytholmroyd, has seen its turnover increase 20-fold over the last seven years. Its nomination piece showed judges exactly how the business expanded through an innovative business plan.
