Trip to Peru for clothing company

Clothing and homewares firm County Alpacas embarked on a trip to Peru as part of their expansion into fashion.

The Mytholmroyd-based company have recently moved into new premises at Top Land Business Park and visited Peru Moda 2014, an event showcasing the latest fashions of Peru to the rest of the world.

Shaun Daniel, from County Alpacas, said the business was able to return to the UK with some attractive and exclusive clothing ranges.

He said: “The location was on the shore line beneath the Miraflores district.

“We were rubbing shoulders with high fashion buyers from all around world. We were all there to get a first glimpse at the latest designs from the fashion power house that is becoming well established in Lima.

“We have managed to obtain some items that are a first for the UK.

“No small achievement for our little company.

“We have secured some exclusive designs, for example the Romantic range of scarves are available only through our shop and online store.

“We expect these to be one of the forefront articles of clothing made from finest alpaca and silk in unparalleled quality and design.

“We will also be displaying more items made from the finest alpaca, the teddy bears are a must see.

“We also now stock the finest baby clothing in pure alpaca all sourced in Peru and of the softest fabric.

“It wasn’t a bot a bad weeks work for a newly opened local business.”
