Video: Lloyds bank staff help spruce up church

Workers from Lloyds Banking Group have been lending a hand in the community this week.

Volunteers from the group were involved in a project at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Claremount.

Lloyds Banking Group runs a nationwide help scheme called ‘Day to Make a Difference’. The scheme lets workers put back into the community by giving their time and services to local projects.

St. Thomas the Apostle church has undergone an overhaul of cleaning and gardening to restore it to its former glory before a Patronal Festival on 7 July.

Andrea Knott, of Lloyds, Halifax, said: “This really brings the community together.”
